The paperwork, in the order it actually happens

The form numbers changed on 1 April 2026 and most of what is written about them online still uses the old ones. These explain the sequence and the timing. They do not interpret your position — that is a Chartered Accountant's job, and we say so on every page rather than blurring the line.

What is not here yet

The three explainers still to write are the NRO caps and what counts against them, what a correspondent-bank deduction actually is, and why the advice from your bank arrives after the wire has already been priced. They are not published because they are not written, rather than being published thin — a half-guide about someone's tax exposure is worse than no guide.

The charge figures the rate checker uses are also still unverified estimates. When they have been captured from a bank with a recorded method and date, that will be said here and on the disclosures page.

Reading these because of a property sale?

Then the sequence matters more than any single form. Tell us roughly what you are moving and whether the sale has completed, and we will tell you what order the pieces have to happen in — or that we cannot help.
